Have you ever been camping?

As a person who worked most of my life. I always look for days or time to unwind, to go somewhere far, to spend time in peace – a peace of mind. So for me the real detachment from the busy world are going to places with: no signal/WIFI, but with natural music all throughout the day and night plus to watch those million stars up in the sky before going to sleep. So rewarding, so relaxing and it’s FREE! ✨🎶

Before the spring ends this year here in the UAE, my must to do is to go camping in the mountains. Truly grateful, I did it twice last April. I planned it to go solo but ended up with a friend and it was all great! 🌳

Been camping here in the UAE many times before, in the mountains of RAK, Fujairah, Al Ain etc. as well as in the beaches. Most of it with friends or hiking buddies who lead and organized the event. But this time I planned and organized it myself. Not really a well planned since the site I’ve ended up to was not my first in mind. It’s just finalize on the day I go. Well, there’s always a different stories for these camping thing but it will be posted each separate post, hopefully.

In camping far places away from the crowd, made me grounded. Humbles to nature and improves my being. I feel close to earth – whom I truly belong.

In the night sky with millions of stars:

I am not good in astronomy, but I have a little bit to talk about stars here when camping.at night. Yeah, one of the thing I look up to when camping is to find the most visible or the brightest star. Those stars in the constellation and, well, I also wish for a shooting star to pass by, in order to wish something. 💫😅

The best thing why I love camping with those millions or billions of stars up there, because I feel at peace. As well as, it is so relaxing to watch them plus with some insects singing in the background. Truly, like bells in the dark.

Many of us will say the brightest star at the night sky is Venus. But Venus is a planet. Yes, planet and stars are different. I am not the right person to explain or describe them here, but yeah.

The brightest star at the night sky is Sirius the ‘Dog Star’. It is the brightest because it is one of the nearest stars to earth. But Venus is many times brighter to Sirius. There are some mobile apps that can help us to identify them, choose yours.
