I think this quote not only goes for when there really is no light available and you truly are in the dark, but also if you are in a poor, dismal, “dark” mindset and someone comes along to brighten your mood, your day. It definitely has more than one meaning to me.
Yes, indeed I agree with you it has a lot of meaning. You have indeed a great example. I can add up also like here in WP sometimes we’re down but read some inspiring stories then it light up our feelings. Thank you 😊
